Turnover

Days have gone by and it is already December. I was quite sad that in December, Caryn wouldn't be coming back home since she had to go for summer school. So never would I have thought that when I heard my home doorbell ring last Monday, my best friend would appear coming up my staircase. She of course lied about coming back just to surprise all her friends - cheeky really.

My December is going by pretty alright. I have been accepted to go to the University of Leeds on an exchange program for the next semester, and I'm pretty ecstatic about it. Hence, most of my days have been spent preparing for my departure. I'll be honest though, I am quite nervous about going overseas. I haven't been away from my family and home and cats for more that two weeks. How will I survive 6 months? Nah, I make it. I'm sure I will.

I was extremely excited about being able to attend all the amazing gigs in UK, but since I received my acceptance a little late, most shows are sold out. Now I know that the English are really forward planning when it comes to concerts and gigs (not like Malaysians - you can still get concert tickets the day before on most occasions). So that makes me quite gutted.. Hope I manage to find gig buddies there, as well as last minute tickets. Hoping for the best.

AND. I'm a super happy football fan this season. Arsenal are performing so well in the EPL, their on top of the league. I know it's still quite early in the season and anything can happen.. but just seeing Arsenal perform so well on the field and getting rewarded for that really makes me happy. I now need a jersey with Ramsey's name on the back.

Ok. Enough boring chatter.
Goodnight. X
